We had such a good weekend this weekend! We drove to Leavenworth for Oktoberfest! we saw a parade (if you could call a couple horse drawn carraiges full of beer kegs and flowers, and a little kid on an atv with a keg in the back of it a parade, then we saw one) ate a TON of really yummy german food (it's fun when everything ends in schnitzel!) and Mikayla even liked the german sausages! We shopped for Christmas ornaments, met my new favorite author, who was signing her book at a tiny little book store there (Rebecca Agiewick, the book is called breakup babe and minus the language, it's HILARIOUS! and pretty close to home for me so whatever) and we played 18 holes of bavarian themed minigolf and then came the long way home and drove through Plain, WA (what a beautiful detour!) It was a long day but so worth the memories!
