Happy Halloween!

Here's part one of the Halloween extravaganza! SO.... where do I start... Marina got Mikayla all ready yesterday morning and took her to school where she had halloween ALL day at kindergarten! Keith and I went up and picked her up at 3ish, it was so cute when we pulled in she was playing out in the play yard and we rolled down the window and yelled for tink and she was SO excited to see us! Then we stopped and had a snack and headed to Linda's to put on the green eyeshadow, new tights (why do they even make nylons for kids, the ones that came with her costume were destroyed when we picked her up because quite frankly I can't keep my hosiery nice all day, how the heck do we think a 5 year old will!) and head out to the church for TRUNK OR TREAT! I will have to say the church outdid itself this year! They had 2 bounce houses, and 5 rows of people with their car (or van or even motorcycle) trunks decorated and standing out it the COLD handing out candy, then inside there were carnival games, a cake walk, bingo, a photo booth and face painting as well as a chili dog feed for those who came for dinner! It was terrific! The picture above is her portrait (thanks Dean and Reine Huber you guys ROCK!) Then we went to my Auntie Dewey's for Chili (this is a family halloween tradition that I've been doing since we were LITTLE) Keith talked about Aunt Dewey's chili all year and he was more than happy to help her empty the crockpot! Then we took Mikayla and my cousin's kids around the neighborhood to trick or treat a little more and then we loaded up the jeep and took her home to her mommy's. She passed out in the car pretty quick though! It was a great night! Hope you all had a great halloween, I'll post more pictures as soon as my mom emails them to me! hint hint mom!
