Welcome to the Angel Breakfast

Our WONDERFUL church does a breakfast with Angels once a year and this last Saturday we took Mikayla. It is the NEATEST thing! it's for kids age 3-kindergarten and here's the lineup of what all we did.

Welcome to the Angel Breakfast

Nativity Scene
(on stage, we had kids playing mary, joseph and their dolly Jesus)

Carolers singing Christmas Hymns

all while we ate:

Pancakes
Scrambled Eggs
Sausage
Fruit
Orange Joice
Hot Chocolate and coffee for us adults

Activities:
Station 1: Photo and frames (the kids get their picture as an angel, in previous years with an angel) and make a frame for their new picture

Station 2: The Christmas story (they listened SO well!)

Station 3: Angel Ornament

We arrived and found seats and then we were greeted and then the angels brought us our breakfast (all the servers are dressed as angels) we ate our breakfast and listened to the carolers and then when we were done eating we started the stations. My good friend Reine was working the picture booth (not a huge shocker, the woman is amazing with a camera and a professional at that) and we decorated her frame, then we headed to the stage to hear the christmas story and then we headed to station 3 to paint our angel ornament. It was so nice! Keith works so many hours during the holiday season that this morning was a fun time for the three of us to be together and jump right in to the season! Mikayla loved it! she's been talking about this since last year (we couldn't get tickets last year) and I think she'll be talking about it for a while. it was just fantastic. Hope you like the pictures, for once in her life she wasn't very photogenic, but oh well!
