Trip to Modesto

After disneyland (that was Thursday) we went Friday morning (SUPER EARLY) from Santa Ana to Sacramento, got our car and drove to Modesto (I think that's south but after this week I don't remember much!) We took Mikayla to the airport in her pajamas and she demanded her crown. We had to leave the condo at 6am and we hadn't gotten home until 11ish from Disneyland the night before! We were all JUST BEAT! The flight staff just fell all over Miss Mikayla in her leopard and purple pajamas with her tiara. it was just so cute!

It was fun for me to be in Modesto. I worked for Gallo Winery for a few years (just shy of 5) and our corporate location is there (in fact Keith's dad works there) so I've been hearing about this town for a LONG time! We arrived and unloaded the car and gave Mikayla a bath and then hit the mall (more on that later) then we started meeting all of the family! I knew some of them (Shawn's family) but I hadn't met Grandma T or Andrew (Shawn's big little brother who looks JUST like him!) and so many others that all of the names are jumbled all up! We went to dinner with a TON of people and then to Keith's Uncle and Aunts house to see them and a video of his graduation (he looks SO different!) and a game that they went to the day after graduation (can you imagine doing graduation and then an all nighter and then the next day playing a DOUBLE HEADER?) it was just a blast! Always fun to see his dad (Forrest is the coolest) and Uncle Jeff and Aunt Barbara (Shawn's mom and dad) Mikayla had fun with the girls (her cousins) and we enjoyed breakfast the next morning with Forrest and then hit the road for Oroville (where Keith grew up)
