CRAZY weekend (aren't they all!)

Friday night started off with games at Mt Lake Terrace fields for Keith, he hit another couple of homeruns (Mikayla says one for her and one for me, pretty cute!) We had a great time as usual chatting, keeping book, watching the kids go crazy, etc. etc.

Saturday Shawn brought Ros over at 7:30 in the morning all dressed up for our tea! Mikayla and Ros joined me and some friends from church at Crista assisted living where my friend Teri Epp had organized a tea for their folks. We had 55 lovely folks in for tea (you should have seen the food!) The girls spent time setting bookmarks on the place settings, and other busy work while the adults set up the food plates (strawberries, grapes, scones, shortbread cookies, hershey kisses, and cucumber sandwiches) The cute folks came in and Mikayla and Ros went to each person and asked if they wanted coffee or tea and spent time with each one (that was the cutest part, they LOVED the attention and the seniors LOVED seeing little girls in twirly dresses all cuted up!) We served tea and then they had entertainment and we snuck out and visited my grandma (who is just next door to the assisted living) and then we came back and helped clean up. The girls were SO good and SO responsible! We then ran and grabbed lunch at mcdonalds and took it home, had lunch with Keith and then he ran off to work and we ran down to paint pottery with my buddy Leah. The girls made suprises for people I can't mention because they read this but trust me, they made CUTE stuff! mothers day is coming!! The Leah and the girls and I went back to my apartment and Leah and I started going through my office and PURGING! my whole living room is full of garage sale stuff right now (we're having a garage sale NEXT weekend) and then Jake came and helped as well. The girls watched a movie but started getting stir crazy so Jake took them out to play on the toys downstairs from my apartment the girls wanted to swing and Jake was nice enough to help them out! Leah and I started watching from upstairs and just about then Mikayla went FLYING off the swing. I was terrified but Jake is a medic so he was all over it, she's ok, a little bruised up but ok. Then we all went to Olive Garden and then Shawn came and picked up Ros and Mikayla crashed! LONG DAY!

Sunday we went to church and then to lunch and then to Huber's where Reine re-did my dye job. love fresh color! Keith and Mikayla played outside for a ton of time and when we were done we went and picked up my dad and took him to minigolf (pictures to be posted later)
