This weekend Keith and Mikayla came and picked me up from work and we drove to Port Orchard to see Shawn, Wendy and Ros. We got to their house around 8pm and attempted to watch happy feet but Keith was the only one who stayed awake...
The next morning Shawn left early for his tournament and we got our concert from the girls (see post below) and then we went and watched one of Shawns games (against canyon hills - our buddy Paul's team!) then we went off to the zoo! I hadn't been to Pt Defiance zoo and aquarium since I was pretty little and I loved it! The girls had a blast and Keith got to see sharks which was the highlight of his day. After the zoo we headed back to Shawn's tourney where Wendy met us (she flew in from Dallas and drove straight to the games! What a trouper!) Shawn's team ended up taking second which means a late night every time!
We attempted to go out with them after to eat but Mikayla fell asleep inside red robin waiting for the seats so we took off. I will say though, Keith and I had late night Dick's drive-in and there is nothing better in the world than a dick's deluxe and fries when you're starving and it's 9:30pm.
Keith reads about things we can do to keep the marine life in the area safe! The girls LOVED the marine discovery center!

Keiths favorite part and the part that creeped me out! SHARK TANK! They are so close, they come and bump the glass! YIKES! it just felt like they were staring at us!

Mikayla thought the elephants dookie stunk. that was about it. you would think she would say OOH Look how big? nope. just eeew that is some big smelly poop. ;)
We watched happy feet the night before so they were pretty excited to see penguins!
