I'm in it to win it!

What an exciting evening we had on Saturday night! Keith, Mikayla and I went over to Mom and Dad's to watch the Cleveland Cavaliers take it to the Detroit Pistons and become the 2007 Eastern Conference Champions! Some of you already knew that I was a nut job Cleveland fan but just in case you're wondering why I care about a non local team, I'll fill you in. My half sister Carolyn is married to Mike Brown (the nicest man you'll ever meet) who is the head coach of the Cavaliers. It's been quite a few years of cheering for non home teams. Denver, Washington, San Antonio, Indiana and now Cleveland. While I like LeBron plenty, I'm more interested in the coaching staff. ;)

I'll have to say I am still in this weird shock and awe thing but I'm starting to come out of it! The phones all started ringing at the end of the game, Keiths family called, my sister called, etc. It was fun to get to be excited with family all over the place!

The biggest problem on the evening? They now have to play San Antonio (my 2nd favorite team) in the finals. My pretend boyfriend Bruce Bowen should play a key role. we'll just have to see. I promise that I won't wear any black and silver though. ;)

The most exciting thing of the night was when they got the trophy and we looked to see my cutie pie nephews with their dad! that's Cameron and Elijah in the red shirts.

Here's Mike telling everyone that he's in it to win it~ no Cameron is not picking his nose and I'm sure Elijah is just stunned by all the people, cameras and lights. by the way I still owe him some embarrassment. Don't you worry. Auntie Kimi is just waiting til you're old enough for it to sting a little ;)
I think Mike is telling the trophy that it will soon have a friend? any other guesses?

Mike - please win the series, my Championship Spurs Wheaties box is all by itself and needs a friend.
