tourists in our own town!

Well, we skipped church. I'll admit it. we decided that the musical performance that the church was hosting was skippable, needed a break and some time to do something just the three of us. We went to pike place market for the centennial berry bash. Mikayla planted some wildflowers and decorated the holder and we did a fish toss to try to win a prize and I took them to Beechers for grilled cheese and tomato soup (I sadly think I was the only one that enjoyed it and man I thought they were going to LOVE it!) Mikayla kissed some fish and hugged a fish thrower and we did all the generally touristy kinda stuff. It was weird for me to be there on a weekend!

pretty flowers in the market. I picked up some sweet peas with mint and an dahlia and we got Cori some sunflowers. love the flowers!

Keith showing us his food. how lovely. grilled cheese, tomato soup all made with Beecher's Flagship cheese (they make it there on site!) we're sitting on milk jugs facing the cheese factory. Mikayla loved it! just didn't like the chunks in her soup (onions and tomatoes)
Mikayla trying her best to toss the fish into the net.
Mikayla and I being crafty, making our flower pot.
