I spoke with Dave Tuesday (one of our fabulous pastors) and the church is a go. We're going to do the wedding (small and very intimate) up in the West Wing (I still want to call it the Upper Annex!) and the reception will be open house style in the Manor (aka the high school's GORGEOUS room). The hard part is that not every one can come to the wedding that we'd like, just family and a very few friends as we're VERY limited with space, but it should be ( will be will be will be) beautiful. I'm invisioning a christmas light/candle light service, we'll see how it goes. ;) Very Ross and Emily (remember from Friends?) Keith promises not to call me Rachel (hope the friends reference isn't too obscure!). The reception will be between 2:05 and 5:05, there will be cocktail tables (you know, the tall little ones that you don't really sit out, you just stand around to converse) we're hoping to make the space seem bigger! Dave said there will be some trees up on the stage (yeah already decorated!) and a BIG tree in the tall window. We're probably just doing some arrangements on the cocktail tables and some little things around. Anyway, still have to figure out all of the rentals, etc. good times. so many things to do!
The paper for my invitations should be arriving this week! (what a great ebay find!) then I'll be up to my ears in making invitations. The save the date cards shipped today so I should have them in a couple days. oh man! it's fun fun times!
I meet with a potential florist soon (it makes me giddy thinking of it!) I'm still on the hunt. I'd prefer someone that I could work with (I know stop taking on responsibilities) but I love all things floral and it may actually relax me to be tedious with my hands. We'll see.
There is your update on all things wedding.
oh yeah! WE HAVE CUPCAKES! my mom's very good friend (they grew up together in Yakima) Verna is baking us red velvet cupcakes and let me tell you, she's got fabulous ideas and these are going to be SHOWSTOPPERS! thanks Verna. you rock. ;)

Now that sounds GREAT! Way to make it all work. Small wedding, big reception, very impressive job at finding a middle ground. I'm impressed.
Aw Kim!! I am so happy for you & Keith!! I can't wait to celebrate your day with you guys!
