Or that's what Gail Carson Levine the author of the Disney Fairy books (Fairy Haven and the Quest for the wand and Fairy Dust and the Quest for the egg) tells me!
Marina and I suprised Mikayla last night with a visit with Mrs. Levine at the UW Bookstore last night. The staff at the bookstore obviously had as much fun putting this together as the little girls that got to partake in the evening did! I had no idea what to expect and oh my heck was I suprised at the work the staff had put into making those little girls feel like fairies!
Mikayla is ADDICTED to the fairy series, she's read all but one and now this new one should keep her busy for a couple days! We knew she'd have fun listening to the author read an excerpt from the newest book and she did!
My cousin Julie had sent me a quick note to tell me that the U bookstore was hosting this event and we jumped at it. I cannot believe that Julie was SO thoughtful to remember that Mikayla loved these books (man is Julie going to be SOME librarian!) THANKS JULIE!

SOME of the fantastic activities for the fairies (kiddos) were sticker sheets, fairy wings to decorate (that have a sticker to stick on the back of your shirt), a madlibs, a word find and a coloring sheet.
this was set right in front of the door when you walked in, it's the newest book! Mikayla knew RIGHT what it was!
