Our very last softball tournament is quickly approaching (October 20-21), it's a halloween tournament with goofy rules like the boys have to bat opposite handed (if they're right handed, that day they bat left) every other inning you have to run the bases backwards (start at home and go to 3rd, the 2nd, etc) and the fun part is that it's a costume tourney. Saturday we wear our costumes and are judged on them by the coordinators and then Sunday we wear our normal O-Crew gear.
Our costumes are the brain child of our own Bonnie, she's amazing, how she pulled this one out I'll never know, but it's a winner!
We are... The Cereal Killers.
The girls are wearing the logo above on black shirts and the boys are wearing bright orange Wheaties shirts (get it, black and orange for halloween!) We thought about having our pitcher dress as a milk man and bring out the softballs in a milk carton carrier, but I think we went with the wheaties.
Keith wrote this email to the team last night:
No expired and soured milk will help you. No amount of training in martial arts will save you, not even Mr Miyagi and his "sand floor" and "wax on wax off" training techniques! Are you afraid? What will you do? Eat all your WHEATIES and unless you have your lucky charms still beware of the cereal killers! They are coming spoons and milk cartons loaded and ready to pour!
Thank you all for wanting to have some fun before the year closes.
I love him. how hilarious is that.
This will be especially fun for me since this is the very team that Keith proposed to me with.
These are good peeps.
