all that glitters again!

Remember these? I loved the idea of them SO much but at 29$ each I said, you know I could make something just as nice, on the same general idea that would be way less... and I did. last night at around 10pm I was back to the martha stewart glitter glue and glitter. Mikayla and Ros and I went to the big craft store in Marysville on Saturday and I got 1 BIG styrofoam cone, three middle sized ones and 3 small ones. I bought silver glitter (the exact kind that I had bought in red to do the KJ) since I knew I was going to have a ton of that glue left over I went for it. total project cost for 11 cones of various sizes? $36 dollars. I think I did alright. I have 4 of the cones done. I had to do all but where I was holding at the bottom, let them dry and then do that bottom part and let them dry upside down in a wine glass (so they wouldn't fall over)

here's one of the small ones drying, I need to find a cool bead to pin or glue to the top? any suggestions?
I'm also still in need of ideas for up the aisle of the wedding. the aisle is SUPER narrow so the original idea of poinsettia plants has me worried but I'm thinking. Maybe fake rose petals? I just hate to buy something that I'll never use again, there's gotta be something.
