Man, I've talked to more people in the last day on email and here on the blog! OK, general consensus is that I'm not going to find exactly what I want and making what I want would be fairly simple and a ton more economical!
I'm heading to Nancy's Sewing Basket today (I know, aren't you JEALOUS!) to discuss with the ladies and purchase some fabric and my friend Cassandra has volunteered to help me with her serger, hem it up. I'm thinking at least four yards of fabric (should I get 5? is there a way to stitch to lengths together) , and I'm thinking a thick organza? still breezy and sheer but thick enough to be a cover up.
Any ideas for texture? The picture had ribbon roses (loose) all over it, I'm not going that crazy! I could do some minimal beading or some bridal applique thingies? Ideas? Remember, easy and cheap! ;)
