Trunk or Treat 07

Our church (alderwood community church) does a GREAT BIG OVER THE TOP carnival for an alternative to Halloween, there's a bounce house, a big inflatable slide, carnival games inside the church, a hot dog/baked potato feed, tractor rides, lattes (oh yeah we're drinking our coffee), a cake walk, bingo room, face paining, a professional magic show AND about 40 cars that people from the church have spent time decorating their trunks, they stand out in the cold and let the kids come trick or treat to them.

This year, Keith had Halloween off so he spent ALL day (10am-3pm) distributing candy to all of the carnival games and trunks. sounds easy right? he figures there was at least 100lbs of candy that were in bags that had to be mixed up, but in 5 gallon buckets and distributed all over the grounds of the church! WOW!

I got there around 3 to grab him and work on our costumes (more on that later) and then back to the church to meet Marina and Mikayla (yep! Marina came down with missy to enjoy all the festivities! I was SO excited!)
