Weekend report!

Friday Keith picked up Mikayla and met me at home with little ceasars (haven't had that in a while) and then we scooted off to his double header softball games. It was our first men's games of the season and SO much fun to see a couple guys that we only see at softball, they both kept saying how big Mikayla is getting. Yes we know!

Saturday we got up and I made BIG breakfast, homemade waffles, sausage patties and scrambled eggs and then after breakfast I scooted to the church for Chum craft day. What a blast! Ann put together some really fun crafts for the girls, a bookmark, a bracelet, a candleholder and a really cute clip magnet, I'll take pictures of the ones I made, they came out SO cute! Keith dropped Mikayla off at a little after noon and she got to make the clip magnet and then I stopped at Michaels and got her a framed mirror to paint to match her tinkerbell room, again, pictures to follow!

We then headed to my dad's because my car, it was beyond filthy and there is no place better to clean and detail a car than their house. We GUTTED it, it took us almost 3 hours. We emptied it, threw away a ton of trash, boxed things up to go up and to the condo, a few things to the storage unit and one TINY box to stay in the car. We then cleaned the inside out, vacuumed, washed, cleaned windows, cleaned the little cracks and crevices and busted our tails. We finished it up with a wash and let me tell you, that is one clean jeep. Now my hubby needs to install my tweeters and I need to do new tires. Then it's back to being a perfect rig.

Sunday we all got to go to church TOGETHER, which is normal for all of you but with Keith's retail schedule is a treat for us. After first service Keith took Mikayla up to her mom's and then headed to work while I stayed at church and had a potluck with the Encouragers sunday school class, it was so fun to catch up with a few people, but I had the worst headache of all times and called it a afternoon about 1:45, I headed home took some ibuprofen and slept for 4 hours. unbelieveable to me.

Keith called and asked if I wanted to go see Expelled, it's a documentary on the lack of freedom of discourse that the Intellegent Design scientist are finding. Very interesting perspective. I'll blog more about this later. We then went to Billy McHales and walked into their "adult prom" seriously, adults wearing tuxes, dresses, having their pictures taken, the vice principal writing kids names on "his list" etc. it was a ball!

We made it home at a little after 11 and I attempted to crash but alas the 4 hour nap earlier messed me right up. I think I fell asleep around 1am and I know I was up for a while around 3. good good times.
