all good ideas must be stolen...

I will however give credit where credit is due.

I saw the following post some time back on http://www.weddingbee.com/ it may be the best wedding website of all times. The website is a blog by a ton of about to be brides and newly marrieds who post about all of their projects, requests for help, lots of pictures and ideas a plenty!

Miss Cherry Blossom took on a DIY adventure that I honestly loved and think I could do in my sleep. She took a clear votive, etched a cherry blossom onto it with etching cream and they look FANTASTIC!

So we found votive holders cheaper than I've EVER seen them at ikea for 32 cents a piece (no shipping since we went down and got them ourselves), all of the craft stores and online stores are 45-65 cents per votive and with 220 to do there's just no way I could rationalize that much! We have 220 of them to now etch snowflakes in and place around at the ceremony and then take down to the reception for our guests to take home with them. You should have seen Keith loading them all in the cart and then into the jeep. What a trooper!

So now who wants to help with a project?
