Things I've learned in Public School (well that's who we're blaming anyway!)

So Wednesday night we took Mikayla to fairy haven (see below post) and as we were standing in the checkout line and Mikayla noticed something and the words that fell out of her mouth startled all three parental units beyond all.

Our perfect, angelic, adorably cute, smart child looked at the bookmarks on the table and said...

What the he** are these.

and she didn't say heck.

yes people her first cuss.

Marina and Keith and I all looked at each other just after she uttered it with stunned disbelief and then Marina said "did she just say that?" at which time all three of us looked at our sweet, angelic, adorably cute first grader with a stunned, completely shocked look. And then all flipped out. That poor kid gets ganged up on EVERY time. bummer having three active parents huh. ;)

A very kind man overheard her and then the proceeding commotion and said "can you believe what they learn at school!" ;) I love that man. way to take the heat of the parental units.

I'm sure we've said that word in front of her, I'm sure she's heard it on tv. But she's always been the kid that pointed out when you said a bad word with "ooooh you said a bad word!" and if we'd ask her what the word we said was she WOULDN'T say it! ever!

So there it is people. proof that she's not perfect.
