Being sick stinks!

I'd like you to meet my new best friends!

Oh yes, dearly beloved Kleenex (well actually I've been ghetto and am using a roll of toilet paper, which is probably why my nose is as red as it is)
And Mucinex, can I just say, cold medicine is NOT what it used to be. Gone are the days of taking a hit of nyquil and heading off to nighty night land, with all the bans on meds I've resorted to Mucinex (get rid of the chest congestion) and a nasal decongestant (which doesn't stop the drippy nose or the continual down my throat)

Now that I've grossed all of you out properly...

Monday I got this weird itchy throat thing in the afternoon and that night came down with this bad boy HARD! I haven't been to the doc yet but I'm guessing sinusitis and possiby the start of bronchitis. It's how my body does this stuff. You normal people just get a cold, I turn into a draining swamp of a human.

I missed work yesterday (I wouldn't really say I missed it, know the movie that one's from?) but am back today at about 60%. I'm making it though.

I'm hoping that I'm on the mend as FanFest is this Saturday and I have to be in good form, no downtime that day! So much to do!
