It's official, I'm spoiled...

Hubs and I had our valentines date last night, we for sure proved that we're getting old. But all in all it was a fantastic night just hanging out with Keith.

We went to Black Angus and ate and ate and ate, I love prime rib so I was in heaven, we had a nice leisurely meal and then hit the jeep and went down to the Edmonds beach (site of our first kiss which he initiated ;) ) then we decided we were both pretty beat so we just went to the christian book store and then to Fred Meyer where the funny happened.

To set it up, I'm spoiled, Keith got me a tulips, hyasinths, silver bracelet that I LOVE, a massage kit from bath and body works, a starbucks card and TWO greeting cards in which he'd written lots of wonderful things that are not for public consumption. ;)

So we're walking into Fred Meyer which is LOADED with last minute valentine gifts. Potted plants, jewelry, balloons, stuffed animals, etc. I mentioned how pathetic it all was, all the last minute, "I didn't think about getting you anything ahead of time so I'm running into Fred Meyer on my way into dinner" kinda stuff and he just looked at me and said. "I got all your stuff today"

Insert foot in mouth.

At least I didn't end up with some stuffed animal to get rid of.

Thanks honey for spoiling me and making me feel so loved. There's no where I'd rather be that with you cuddled on the couch chilling. (which is how we ended the date)
