Saturday - THE BIG DAY!

Saturday is always a blast at camp!

We started at 11 with taking Mikayla and Nathan on the scavenger hunt. David helped us (I think he REALLY had a good time being a helper to the little kids and we REALLY loved his help!)

We got our list and OFF we went. A pink napkin? CHECK a Cheerio? CHECK Candlewax? CHECK

A dead bug??? WHAT? um.... well this is where little Nathan shined. the cutie pie sweet angel 6 year old turned all boy and WHACK smacked and smashed a bug right on the table we were working and and picked it up and threw it in the bag. I nearly peed.

WE CAME IN SECOND! just behind a group of 6th grade girls so in all honesty for being such little kids we KILLED!

Then we got the kids in their swim/running gear and headed out for the VERY hot field to play the annual games. Mikayla looks SO forward to this (probably cause she wins every year and I'm not just saying that to brag, she's dang fast and strong! perfectly suited for a tug of war and foot race) first place both ways even against the boys in the foot race! Man she's got wheels!
