things I should have blogged part 1 - mariner fan fest!

Fan Fest 07! We went to Fan Fest (2nd year now!) with Jay and Jessica and they're 3 boys. totally fun! we went last year and Mikayla became famous for winking at JJ Putz (who made her come back and do it again AND she ended up on the Mariners website being cute with JJ) anyway, this year we went and it was SO cold! I thought we were going to die! It just proves that it is still too early for baseball!
Here we are walking into the park from the garage. Mikayla with her sunnies. too cute!
We started out with the batting cages (the easy ones for the kids) nothing is cuter than a kid that can barely hold up a bat, trying to take cuts. so stinkin cute!
Then we ran the bases (mikayla on first, no who's on first...)

Man do we have a great park to watch ball in! LOVE IT!

Hey look! It's crazy winky girl! doing what makes her famous! ;) I'll take no credit for this face. ;)

Then we went out on the field at caught fly balls. I will not post the very dorky photo of me attempting a fly ball catch. I'd like to pretend that I know what I'm doing but after seeing the photo it is apparent that I am just a spaz in the field. note to self, work on pop flies. ok. I put it up. and yes I look like a spaz. ;) and I missed the stinking pop up too.

Instead I'll put in the cute picture of me just being cute and not attempting to catch a fly. ;)

We then went and took cuts in the real cages. I think they were like 45 miles an hour? I struck out hard like everyone else and then Keith gets up and tags all of them. My favorite is that we were all freaking out that he hit them and all he says is that he pulled them. he was dissapointed with his performance! We weren't. and he was cute with the kids again. shocker.

We went upstairs to the face painting/kids area and the kids and jessica participated in a hula hoop contest and by golly Jessica WON! That lady can hula hoop!

Mikayla didn't want a cool mariner face paint, she wanted a butterfly. that girl is ALL GIRL!


Hey look its all of us with the moose! Yes we're dorks.
we ended the day with the speed pitch. most of us were pathetic. Keith did pretty good!
