things I should have blogged part 2 - jr. retreat

Jr Retreat! Highlight of my year with my church kids! This last March (the first weekend) we had our Jr Retreat. I was the director this year and let me tell you, it's a really good thing that we have such a great Childrens pastor! Bill was new to this this year too and he was amazing! He did most of the work but let me help. He spoke, generally ran the camp. anyway. here's some highlights of my Friday/Saturday, 2nd through 5th grade adventure!


Me and Lauren had a cabin together. I should explain that I had the worst case of bronchitis I think I have ever had and I was questionable if I was going to make it I was so sick. but God provided and I felt pretty good considering how much medication I was on! Lauren ran the cabin while I did the large group stuff and she was FANTASTIC! we had 3rd graders (my favorite)


Our cute girls! I'm just happy that no one threw up or had an accident. that to me is success. ;)
