dress and invitation day this last saturday!

Saturday I had my fitting at David's, it went great. We are having them put in a satin panel in the back with the lace up the back, good on two levels. One, loosens it up so it fits better through the chest and two, I can sinch it up so I look like I have a waist. wohoo! It's beautiful. I had to leave the dress with the very capable staff though until November, I waved goodbye and told them to take care of her! My mom and cousin Barbara and Mikayla and I had a blast, we went to the fabric store to purchase the fabric and interfacing because instead of the 30 dollars they were going to charge us, I ended up paying 8 dollars for the actual supplies. retail markup you evil evil person!

We then all headed back to my moms to work on the invitations! We finished all of the wedding invites, we're still working on the reception invites and the labels are all done. I bit the ettiquite bullet and went for Martha Stewarts wrap around labels for the invitations because my handwriting is horrible, I can't fathom when I'd have time to address THAT many invites, and the look so cute that I just had to do it. I hope no one is offended, it could happen, but to save my very sanity I went with labels.

by the way, I want to thank my Mom, my cousin Barbara and my oldest posse buddy Leah for helping on Saturday, you guys are so fun to hang with and such a huge help! I appreciate you guys MASS! oh and Barbara thanks for volunteering to take over all operations on the hot cocoa bar. That is a huge help and I thank you in advace for the work! I have good family.

And thanks Mikayla for staying busy and being SUCH a great kid all weekend.

Keith and I are mailing out the first batch tonight so watch your mailboxes! We can't wait to celebrate with everyone!
