My dad and I do NOT have a traditional daddy daughter relationship. At all. We tease each other, we watch alot of sports (especially husky football) but we aren't the typical daddy/daughter huggy type.
The song that I chose to walk up the aisle to (Chris Rice, Punchlines and Ironies) is LONG, so we waited almost a full verse before we started our walk down the aisle, I warned him repeatedly during rehearsal to go SLOW! can he do that? nope. I pulled him back the whole way and used my favorite line (it sounds bad but makes for a good joke if you've seen The Ballad of Ricky Bobby??) slow down old man or I'll break your hip. Well that got him laughing all the rest of the way down the aisle. Man that sounds so bad typed out, well trust me, it's funny. we both laughed. Anyway.
Here we are at the start, waiting to have a picture taken. Stop, pose, there ya go!
I believe I was yanking him pretty good at this point.
