The Johnsons would like to wish you and yours a blessed Christmas.
We opened our presents last night and tonight we're going to look at Christmas lights when Keith gets off work. Tomorrow we go to Christmas eve service (the 7pm service) and then head out for Yakima to have BIG Christmas with my mom's side of the family (HI GRAHAMS!) This is Mikayla's first Graham Christmas, we've been promising her little piggies and cinnamon rolls for months which is tradition for Christmas morning.
This morning at church the choir and orchestra did a portion of Handels Messiah, what a blessing that was! I had goosebumps for a large majority of the time.
Mikayla and I are enjoying some downtime this afternoon, she's playing with her new presents and we're working on dinner for this evening. Slow and uneventful. Which is a nice change of pace.
I'd like to wish you all a very very Merry Christmas. It's my favorite day of the year (and season). Time to celebrate the birth of Jesus! I try to picture the angels telling the shepherds the good news, can you imagine the sounds and sights they saw that night! We serve a great and majestic God.
