Our first sight of each other

Let me just preface, I'm not Southern. I understand in some circles viewing your betrothed before your "BIG WALK DOWN THE AISLE" is just not done. Well I'm sorry, if you want great photos without putting everyone out while they wait for you... you do what we did.

Reine and Dean cleared the room of EVERYONE, no wedding coordinators (although I don't think I would have noticed them) no famiy, no friends, no NOBODY...

They then brought Keith in, positioned him in the front, just like he was waiting for me to come up the aisle, and told him to close his eyes.

I had been escorted into a backroom, and at "the moment" Reine called me in. It was the first time I saw the room with the lighting I'd been working on for HOURS the day before, all the candles were lit, the christmas lights were shimmering, it smelled like a Christmas tree (could be because there were two GINORMOUS ones up front) I just remember taking it all in. I had my almost cry moment right before I came in and had had a chat with myself in realization that Bernadette (who did my makeup) was home getting ready and if I cried the pictures would be ruined. That was enought to get me to suck it up.

I remember her calling me in and looking down at him opening his eyes. What a great romantic moment that was.

Here's the look, I can't believe they got it. I thought he might cry but instead he was just really really quiet. Not normal for my hubs.
I started telling him all about my morning, how wonderful he looked in his tux and he just still stood there, very very speechless.

Oh look he's finally talking a little. I actually asked if we could kiss, whose permission was I looking for?
