Calling all beachgoers...

Ok, were up and running and planning our minimoon as I'm calling it, for a 4-5 day trip to the Oregon Coast. We're doing a minimoon because we had our first night in LaConner, which wasn't cheap, and we have couples retreat in Victoria in May, seems silly to spend a ton MORE money to do another trip in between so we're thinking extended weekend, Oregon Coast.

Some of you know (some of you REALLY know cause you were there) that I lived in Cannon Beach for about 9 months while attending a small bible college there on the conference grounds called Ecola Hall Bible School, when I attended there were what about 50 students? (Tammy and Sarah, feel free to correct me!) and it was the best year of my life. hands down. It was the year after I graduated from high school and while a strayed a little in the following years in College, Ecola built a foundation for me to jump back to when I grew up a little.

All that to say, I'm really really drawn to Cannon Beach. BUT... it's expensive (unless I'm missing something) so I'm thinking about staying in Seaside and going into Cannon Beach for 1-2 of the days. Seaside is SUPER close, has TONS more options for places to stay, is about half the price and has cute shops right in town and a grocery store and all that whereas Cannon Beach is QUIET! there's shops, but everything closes at like 6pm and while I'm not looking to party or anything it would be nice to have the option to grab a late dinner somewhere that we could walk to from where we're staying.

Any thoughts?
