Every year the Pike Place Market celebrates the first day of spring with daffodil day! A large group of merchants gives out daffodils all ovre downtown for free to celebrate the start of the season in the market!
I couldn't let it pass without going up and getting some daffodils and taking some pictures of the newly arrived tulips to the stands!
Look at all the buckets! she was on one corner and there were three others on the other corners and then a whole other group one more block down!
here's the tourist photo for all of you!
look at the planter boxes up top, this goes all the way down the market on both sides. love it!
My lipstick pink tulips, love this time of year! these are the first tulips I've seen and they were EVERYWHERE today!
love how this came out!

Oh I wish I could come down & walk through the market today! I LOVE your flower pics Kim! SOOO pretty!!
My absolute fav are the pink ones with the green edges. Have you visited Skagit county and been to Roozengarde? Roozengarde has some of the most unusual and beautiful flowers I have ever seen. I have pics of noth my teens as toddlers among the tulips. Beautiful post and thought.
