I can hear the announcers voice booming. I can feel the crowd getting amped up. Oh I can feel it. My blood is flowing purple and gold. That's right kids. it's the start of HUSKY season! Oh the happiness I am feeling today!
Tonight the season starts at 5pm our time as the Huskies meet Syracuse for our season opener. Oh how I wish they were here, but alas, I gotta wait. 
Instead I will be in front of my GINORMOUS television, with my bowl of chili and cornbread, bringing in Fall. The air is crisp, the season is starting and yes it is my favorite time of the year.
get out your pom poms and your favorite shirt. I may even put on the temporary tattoo on my face (oh Keith knows how nutty I get already so don't try to warn him)
