What to do, what to do...

We got married in December and since Keith works retail, taking a honeymoon immediately was OUT of the question. We did go up to LaConner for our wedding night and stay in the most beautiful place, full townhouse with no tv, but with a hot tub, it was the most enjoyable evening ever. Peace and quiet and beauty everywhere. We didn't want to come home.

We had decided that we would plan a trip in late February, early March and then the church did it to us...

They planned Couples retreat for May.

We both really want to attend, I more than him a little since it's in my FAVORITE town on the planet (Victoria, B.C.) But we both really want to go.

Here's the problem. Couples retreat is pricey and it just doesn't seem smart or needed to take TWO trips in a few short months. Y'know? (especially after doing the Leavenworth thing too!)

So, couples retreat is going to be our honeymoon of sorts. I'm excited to spend time with a ton of my friends and have Keith get to spend some time with some great couples! And showing him around one of my favorite towns should be fantastic too!

Bring your walking shoes if you're coming, there's TONS to see. I'm hoping for a showing of the northern lights like the last time I was in Victoria. We sat on the deck with the laptop reading how people all over the northern hemisphere were seeing what we were seeing, it was amazing. our view was right over the empress hotel which probably made it more cool. We must have sat out there for 3 hours. Once in a lifetime right? hopefully not! ;)
