huh?

My hubs and I woke up to snow, lots and lots of snow, schools closed, etc., He had to go set up our softball team at 7am at the Lynnwood Civic Center and so we decided he'd take me to the bus on his way, well what an adventure! We drove out to get on I-5 and the lights on the entrance weren't working so three lanes of cars were trying to merge onto I-5 at the same time. that just doesn't work. Then the freeway was JAMMED up so we got off on 164th and came across a stuck bus on the hill, shocker, they always get stuck there in the snow. We then tried to scoot around everyone and go the back way and got behind a car going a very cautious 20 miles an hour (at the most) then we came past alderwood mall where EVERYONE was getting stuck on the hill, we ended up going into oncoming traffic to get around everyone (I love my jeep sometimes!) Keith got me to the Lynnwood Park and ride just in time to see the bus I was supposed to get on jack knife in the parking lot. We left the condo at 6:30 and I got on a bus to Seattle at 7:38. seriously.

The funniest part? You get downtown and there isn't a sign that snow has been around, there's NOTHING! it's bare and a little wet, we had one quick hail storm. that's it.

I wanna go home and play in the snow.
