Friday I went up and met the rest of my group, Mom, Dad and George and Karen who were camping up in Sedro and Marina and Mikayla who were there because oh yeah, they live there! Mikayla had a 9:30am check in for the parade which she was cheering in and I met she and Marina at the high school just in time to get her checked in and then Marina and I went and scouted out seating for the group!
We walked 1/2 the route before we found anything workable! There were SO many people in town for the logger rodeo and if I don't say so myself, perhaps the CUTEST parade ever for the fourth of July! Small town does it right people!
We planted ourselves, grabbed a delicious cheeseburger and waited for the family! They all arrived about 20 minutes before the start of the parade. Now you'll have to forgive me for only taking pictures of the kiddo but Mom took a TON of the very cute parade.
My favorites? Dino Rossi and his HUGE group of supporters! Totally fun to see him in little Sedro Woolley, the 3 different churches that gave out water along the route, totally cool. and of course the Sedro Woolley high school cheerleaders and our Mikayla. ;)
They were near the end of the parade, when they got to us Marina and I decided we'd follow them down to the pickup location, which we thought was just down a bit, oh no, it was another LONG way! We grabbed her and headed back to my parents and George and Karen and then headed to the LOGGER RODEO!
