We started the move weeks ago, received our first boxes from the mover two weeks ago and last week packed, wrapped, labeled and got organized! The staff worked together really well and the move happened starting Tuesday with loading up the library, then the archive room and model shop, then on Thursday they loaded up the two vacationing staff members and THEN Friday they started at 4pm packing us all, every bit of everything. Our job was to have it tagged (each person and spot at the new office had a color and a number and the movers were told via tag where to take whatever they picked up) it was so cool, they made a huge ramp from the mezzanine down to the lower level and just started pushing boxes down, loading them on to four wheel carts and then onto the trucks. They operated 4 trucks Friday night and then Saturday I think only 3. We were completely moved out of the old space by 11am on Saturday!
