Friday night Mikayla and I finally tried out grocery outlet. Here's my thoughts... Great for some things, we found pizza dough, cheese and pepperoni all for under 6$ but we were grossed out by the old meat. There's great deals on canned foods but some of it felt sketchy. I'll definitely try it again as it looks like it's different every time you go. We'll just see.
Keith worked during the day on Saturday and Mikayla and I worked to stay in our pajamas ALL DAY! I finally got showered and cute around 3pm and she was still in her pj's when Daddy got home about 4pm. I call that a great day. We got a ton of laundry done, made fancy dinner and put up a few more things in the condo and worked on her room a bit.
For dinner we got creative. We had to have early dinner as our church was having Couples night out! So Mikayla and I made lovey dovey pepperoni pizzas. She had a BLAST putting on the sauce, spreading the cheese and placing the pepperoni's on the pizza. We sprinkled it with some pampered chef italian seasoning and popped them in the oven. We also made instant vanilla pudding and put it in champagne flutes and made our valentine cookies too! It was very very cute. And yet again I've realized that she's a lot more into eating whatever she helped make. I'm going to develop some things to get her in the kitchen more, she's perfectly capable of a ton of things!
Couples night was a blast. We sat with Mom and Dad, the Kirkhams, the Klipps, the Zylstras and a new couple that just started at the church. We came in second place on the game and won A WHOLE 20oz coke product! yep kids a bottle of coke. kinda funny...
Then the fun started. There was a comedian, he was great. He used us as a joke almost the whole time. I asked Keith to wear a tie not knowing that it's WAY more casual than that (he was the ONLY guy in a tie, in fact I saw a lot of t shirts around so he was WAY over dressed) So we kinda wrote our own joke in that the newly wed is the guy stuck wearing a tie to the event. Good times. Keith has no problem being the butt of a joke though so it was all fun. He also nailed us for having our honeymoon in LaConner, a Californian doesn't understand going to a beach town north of seattle in December, with snow. again. it writes itself.

The comedian was not aware that your honeymoon was only one night. Think what he could have done with THAT!
I totally agree with your comment about grocery outlet- it's good for canned and boxed things, and some frozen foods, but you still have to be careful about looking at the expiration dates on stuff. I find that it's frustrating to go there with a shopping list, but I like to go browse occasionally and see what I can get.
Cute pizzas!
